Although many people use the terms refinishing and refurbishing interchangeably, the truth is there is a distinct difference. 

Refinishing, a service we do not provide at this time, removes the existing finish via chemical stripping and sanding, and then a completely new finish is applied.

Refurbishing is an inexpensive alternative to refinishing when wood floors are not badly damaged and the existing finish is still largely intact. Wood floor refurbishing does not require removal of the existing finish. 

Many floors do not require refinishing for a beautifully renewed appearance. Our wood floor refurbishing services rejuvenate the appearance of wood floors at a fraction of the cost of a full refinishing.
